Bay Area SPARKED me up! :)

Writer: Shanthan Kumar PadisalaShanthan Kumar Padisala

I know there are hardly any readers of these posts as I intentionally did not share any of these with anyone. But if you are reading and wondering 'how come this guy is back again after 4 long years and became actively share his thoughts and feelings through his blog?', I assure you that this time I came stronger and as a more mature person and I wont disappoint. :P

Last 3 years of my life at Penn State have been instrumental in shaping me, especially the last 2 years which gave me important life lessons. I will save all these life lessons and share them in a cryptic fashion through my posts. But right now, I am excited to share the news that is going to kickoff my return to Wix! ;)

Did you folks ever have a special place in your hearts that you want it to be so special and you save it for something really important? It could either be a bucket list that you would want to visit only with your partner or even some simple relaxing spots to celebrate special moments by popping up a champagne bottle! :) In my life's professional dimension it is Bay Area.

It could be due to movies or TV shows that this huge respect for Bay Area has been instilled over the last 2 decades. I still remember watching the film 'Surya Son of Krishnan' when I was a kid, where the lead actor Suriya travels all the way from Chennai to Berkeley to win his nerdy girl. The view of the Goldengate bridge he enjoys with his girl is something I can never forget! And then for some reason UC Berkeley, SF and Bay Area have all of a sudden become like a sacred place to me. Call it foolishness, I have saved this place all these ages with great expectations and I am pleased to share that this wonderful city has beaten all of my expectations off the charts.

The Golden Gate Bridge

Life sometimes gets hard as we all grow up, and the faster one realises the harsh reality of life that everyone is alone in their battles, the better is for someone to resurge back. And this is what I call as 'SPARK' ;) , which I finally found in this wonderful place. In addition to the silly childish reasons, I always knew that California or Bay Area in general are those places where the public is always hungry for innovation. All the amazing tech hubs are around where all genius minds get together and try to make amazing products that make an impact out there in the real world. With great schools like UC Berkeley and Stanford and amazing startup culture around, this is the place that every tech enthusiast must experience in their formative years. After all, it is said that you are an average of the 4 folks you hang out with, then why not increase the average by living in such amazing places with the most smartest minds around? ;)

Awaiting for the metamorphosis of the boy in a cocoon inside me to a man with the butterfly wings in the next few months of my life. So, be a part of this journey by being my active reader! ;)
